Grammar represents the acquisition of foundational knowledge. It is about joyfully receiving and memorizing the basic facts and truths of language, mathematics, science, and Scripture. This element lays the groundwork for all future learning by instilling a love for God’s creation and a sense of wonder at His order, recognizing every day 

Grammar represents the acquisition of foundational knowledge. It is about joyfully receiving and memorizing the basic facts and truths of language, mathematics, science, and Scripture. This element lays the groundwork for all future learning by instilling a love for God’s creation and a sense of wonder at His order, recognizing every day as a gift to be filled with gratitude and delight (Philippians 4:11-12, 1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Logic represents the development of understanding. It encourages students to think critically, analyze information, and discern the relationships between different ideas. This element aligns with the call to grow in maturity and wisdom, to “rightly handle the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15), and to cultivate a heart of humility and attentiveness in seeking God's wisdom (Proverbs 1:5, James 1:19).

It is about learning to communicate truth effectively, glorifying God through articulate and virtuous speech and action. This element reflects the mission of engaging the world as disciples of Jesus, integrating what has been learned into a coherent and purposeful life that seeks to “live on Earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).
